Sacrifice and revenge. His lords tell Yugare to focus on the death of a Dragon Clan dignitary, while Aji aids a kinsman of his in his quest for revenge. Taiyo asks a colleague to sacrifice one of their investigations for a greater good. Ishi finds that a search for vengeance doesn’t always end at the grave, and a mysterious cult seeks to sacrifice one of the magistrates to take revenge on the gods themselves.
On the run from the great chittering hordes of claw and calamity, can our heroes solve a puzzle that no magic or brute force can overcome?
Plus, the Dirks have a serious question to answer…and yes its both existential and erotic.
